University Federico II of Naples

Description of the intervention

The project is the re-development of the derelict industrial site CIRIO located in the district of San Giovanni Teduccio in Naples. The new complex will be used as a Faculty of Engineer and Law of the University Federico II. The total plot of land is 63.000 sq m, of which circa 51.000 sq m will be built. The new buildings will have a total surface of 41.000 sq m and a huge underground parking area. The complex will also include green areas, technological laboratories, congress centre, seven rooms with a capacity of 2.000 students each and two modular buildings that will be able to gather about 140 teachers.
