ITS Controlli Tecnici has adopted an Ethical Code as a tool for ethical behavioral guidance that defines the reference principles and guidelines that should govern the behavior of corporate bodies and their members, employees, and collaborators of the Company, as well as all those who, in any capacity, operate in its interest.
The Ethical Code is an essential element of ITS CONTROLLI TECNICI's control system aimed at preventing crimes under the aforementioned Legislative Decree 231 and is an integral part of the Company’s Model 231.
Respecting ethical rules in business conduct is a source of good reputation in the market for ITS Controlli Tecnici and a competitive advantage that helps the success of the company’s mission and the achievement of the set objectives.
The Code is periodically updated, modified, or revised by the Board of Directors, also upon the proposal of the Board of Statutory Auditors and the Supervisory Body, in order to align it with the evolution of civil sensitivities and applicable regulations.

ITS Controlli Tecnici operates with the aim of ensuring impartiality, technical competence, reliability and transparency in the conduct of its activities, whilst guaranteeing compliance with applicable regulations and the requirements set out in the relevant standards. ITS promotes the continuous improvement of internal processes, ongoing staff training and the full satisfaction of stakeholders, adhering to principles of correctness, independence and professional responsibility. Within the scope of its activities, ITS Controlli Tecnici also specifies that it does not issue voluntary certifications, operating exclusively in accordance with the authorisations, accreditations and competences required by its field of activity.

Legislative Decree 231/2001 ("Decree 231") introduced the so-called "administrative liability" of legal entities, companies, and associations, including those without legal personality (entities), for the commission of criminal offenses by individuals acting in their interest or to their benefit.
In accordance with the provisions of Decree 231, the Board of Directors of ITS Controlli Tecnici has adopted an organizational, management, and control model ("Model 231") with the purpose of establishing a structured and systematic system of procedures and control activities aimed at preventing the risk of committing the crimes contemplated by the mentioned Decree.
ITS Controlli Tecnici has also established an internal control body called the "Supervisory Body" ("OdV"), with the task of overseeing the functioning, effectiveness, and compliance of the Model, as well as ensuring its constant updating.
The OdV of ITS Controlli Tecnici is composed of three external professionals, appointed by the Board of Directors.
