ITS is one of the most important independent companies expert in the technical control of design, construction, services and investments. In particular, the company specializes in supervision, control and monitoring services for the design and construction processes of infrastructure, complex buildings and industrial plants. From 2000 ITS is a specialist in the control of outsourced facility services. ITS is a private company, has a network of over 40 professionals (engineers, architects, specialized technicians and consultants) who work throughout the national territory. It has two permanent offices in Rome and Milan.

ITS is a “Type A” third-party inspection body accredited by ACCREDIA, in accordance with standard UNI EN CEI ISO/IEC 17020:2012 for the construction sector, covering inspections of design, works execution, certification of safety documentation and commissioning works for the tunnels of the TERN network. ITS also operates as a Notified Body in the PED 2014/68/EU sector for the conformity assessment of Pressure Equipment, including the approval of methods and personnel for permanent joints (Annex I, point 3.1.2) and for the approval of personnel carrying out non-destructive testing (NDT) (Annex I, point 3.1.3).

ITS is also authorised by the Ministry of Industry and Made in Italy to carry out ten-yearly periodic inspections on underground LPG tanks using the acoustic emission (AE) method in accordance with Ministerial Decree 17/01/2005.

ITS is ISO 9001 certified and offers a wide range of professional services to public and private clients, in Italy and abroad.

ITS has always believed in technical control as a tool aimed at improving the quality standard of services and products and above all at mitigating risks. In fact, ITS stands as a real partner guaranteeing its clients, through the control activity, that the services rendered by the suppliers (designers, contractors, maintenance personnel, etc.) are paid only on the basis of the certainty of the activities performed and the results obtained, according to the timing, methods and quantitative and qualitative levels provided for by contract.
